Sunday morning is the highlight of weekly Christian community. At King’s Cross, we come to center our lives and hearts on the worship of God, through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. We strive to learn through expository preaching and teaching of the Bible. Singing praises to the Lord as a family is a treasured joy. We drink in fellowship together. We hug and cry together. We laugh and pray together. Sunday worship calls to the forefront what is true every day: Jesus has saved us sinners, and is the King who is returning for those who trust Him.

What to Expect
We recognize that it can be strange to visit a church. We’ll try to answer some questions that might come up. And on Sunday mornings there will always be members of King’s Cross available to help answer any further questions you might have.
What is the worship gathering like?
Our hope is that our worship gatherings are understandable yet deep and rich. We worship God with both contemporary and historical styles. That means we sing a variety of songs and hymns to glorify God and encourage each other.
Feel free to listen to this Spotify playlist to become familiar with some of the songs we sing.
Every week there will be a sermon preached from the Bible. The best things we could say are the things God has already said in His Word. In our teaching we love to see how God speaks to us from His Word about knowing Jesus and how he shapes the moment-by-moment nature of our lives. Every first and third Sunday of the month we also celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.
We hope everyone who comes to learn and worship with us will feel free to come as they are. There are no rules about either dressing up or dressing down.
Is there something for my kids?
During the gathering, there will be nursery care for infants and fun lessons from Scripture for children age 3 through 2nd grade. However all ages are welcome to join us for the entire worship gathering. Click here for more information on our King’s Kids ministry.
The Commons – our mid-week home
KCC does not own a church building, and so the Commons (521 W. 2nd St.) is a common space used for KCC and other community activities throughout the week. The Commons is used for meals, meetings, and parties. Women’s Study meets at the Commons, along with King’s Kids, and various Discipleship Groups and Gospel Life Groups. Our church offices are also at the Commons.
