PASTORAL TRAINING INSTITUTE OF AFRICA
This past Sunday we prayed for the Pastoral Training Institute in Malawi, Africa and for Pastor Robert Manda. If you sense a nudging of the Lord to give to this ministry, we encourage you to follow through and assure you that we think it is a good kingdom cause. Currently PTIA is struggling to raise enough funds to run the school. To sponsor a student is $500/month for one year. Of course any contribution toward student sponsorship would be highly appreciated. PTIA can pair you with a student that you help sponsor so you can correspond with them if you like.
MAN CAMP
March 31st – April 2nd
Join some of the KCC guys going to Man Camp (3) at Miracle Camp! Registration required and space is limited. “Throwing hatchets, trap shooting, and eating incredible food are just a few of our favorite things here at Man Camp. Most importantly, though, we want to see guys grow in their faith alongside hundreds of other men, be challenged in their walk with Christ by our chapel speaker, and be able to worship alongside other believers. Join us for the manliest weekend of the year!”
Speaker: Nate Hamblin
Band: Aaron Scantlen

Quiz Team House Need
March 24th-26th
NW Ohio Bible Quiz Invitational will be held this year in Northwest Ohio on Friday – Sunday, March 24-26. They are looking for homes in which to house teams and staff near Archbold, Ohio. The only meals that you need to provide are breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The teams and coaches expect to sleep on the floor, and bring their own sleeping bags. You will need to provide transportation to your home on Friday evening, to Archbold High School on Saturday morning, back to your home on Saturday evening, and to the school on Sunday morning.
Quiz Team Update
‘Foremen’ And ‘Fortified’ Win Bible Quiz Season
This winter, 400 Bible quizzers in Ohio and Pennsylvania studied 32 selected chapters of Exodus and Numbers, totaling 813 verses.
Co-champions for 2023 are “Foremen,” King’s Cross, and “Fortified,” Eastland Baptist, with 21-3 records. Coached by Seth Nofziger, “Foremen” led the league all season, and also won the opening tournament on Jan. 8.
“River Hornets” (14-10), North Clinton, and “Stars of Heaven” (13-9-2), King’s Cross tied for fourth. Keri Nofziger coaches “Stars of Heaven”.
Just missing a fourth-place plaque was “Eagles Wings,” King’s Cross, who finished sixth with a 13-10-1 record. They were coached by Chris Foor and Lydia Nofziger.
With the area’s 156 league matches completed, the fun continues with two tournaments. A 13-team local tournament at Central Mennonite Church is planned for Sunday, March 19, and a 70-team Ohio-Pennsylvania Invitational will be held at Archbold High School the weekend of March 25-26.

Heres some pics for an update in next weeks loop. Carpet is gone, HVAC is done, electrical started this past Monday, and the transition wall above the conference room and bathrooms is well on its way with a goal to complete before we tear out the fellowship hall wall.

New City Catechism: Question 11
Question: What does God require in the sixth, seventh, and eighth commandments?
Answer*: Sixth, that we do not hurt, or hate, or be hostile to our neighbor, but be patient and peaceful, pursuing even our enemies with love. Seventh, that we abstain from sexual immorality and live purely and faithfully, whether in marriage or in single life, avoiding all impure actions, looks, words, thoughts, or desires, and whatever might lead to them. Eighth, that we do not take without permission that which belongs to someone else, nor withhold any good from someone we might benefit.
*Children’s answer is the bold text
Weekly Fighter Verse: Hebrews 12:2
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Next Sunday’s Sermon Text: 1 Corinthians 7:17-27
We Would Love to Pray for You
We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
Biblical Counseling at KCC
Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselors are certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.
If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.
