DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS SUMMER LAUNCH
Sign-ups open till May 14th
One of KCC’s core identities is that we are disciples. Jesus calls us to take up our cross, so we learn from Scripture to follow Christ as our King. The purpose of Discipleship Groups (DGs) is to equip everyone in our church to help others follow Jesus. DGs are groups of 2-5 people of the same gender who meet regularly to read Scripture or gospel-saturated books, pray, and share in the joys and struggles of life. Click button below to view available groups and signup.

SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM – LUNCHES IN THE PARK
June 5th – July 29th | 12:00pm – 12:30pm @ Latty Grove Park
During the summer months, we are helping serve lunch to children in need once a week at Latty Grove Park from 11:45am-12:45pm. We do not have to prepare the meals. We simply come and serve. It takes less than an hour, so you could easily do it on your lunch break if you work in Defiance. If you would like to help out, let us know at email@example.com

New City Catechism: Question 18
Question: Will God allow our disobedience and idolatry to go unpunished?
Answer*: No, every sin is against the sovereignty, holiness, and goodness of God, and against his righteous law, and God is righteously angry with our sins and will punish them in his just judgment both in this life, and in the life to come.
*Children’s answer is the bold text
Weekly Fighter Verse: Romans 12:14-16
Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own sight.

We Would Love to Pray for You
We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
Biblical Counseling at KCC
Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselors are certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.
If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.
