Giving Tuesday Africa

All Church Picnic

July 14th | After the Worship Gathering

We’re planning an all church picnic (weather permitting) June 9th following the worship gathering. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be provided. Please bring the following items according to your last name: A-I bring desserts, J-O salads, and P-Z veggies. Some gluten free items would be greatly appreciated! The backup plan for inclement weather will be to meet at the Fellowship Hall, but we’ll make that announcement at the worship gathering.

Guys of KCC, young and old, you’re invited to East Harbor State Park, Lake Erie, OH for a camping trip! To sign up, go to the Church Center App and tap the “Guys Camping Trip” button on the home page, or check the “Guys Camping Trip” box on the Connect Card and put it in the giving box. Please plan to bring your own gear and food, and stay tuned for more details.

July 27th – August 3rd

Toward the end of July, a group of KCC youth and leaders will be serving the local church in Patillas, Puerto Rico for one week through an organization called Praying Pelican Missions (PPM). PPM’s mission is to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church in serving and reaching their communities for Christ. They seek to establish genuine partnerships between churches local and abroad through short-term missions, church sponsorships, and disaster response.

July 14th | Open for Lunch @ 12:00pm, Music Begins @ 1:30pm | Kingsbury Park, Defiance

The Stroede Center for the Arts is presenting the second annual Music on the Maumee Festival this week. The final day, July 14th, is a collaboration with several area churches to develop and event where everyone can come together to worship and praise God as one voice and thank Him for blessing the community. The event will feature worship music led by over 20 local worship leaders and team members. 

A smoked chicken dinner will be available to purchase from Jacob’s Meats, and all attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Lunch will be available at the park for $12. Group discounts, as well as $18 concert ticket and meal bundles, are available as well. To learn more and purchase tickets, click the button below.

Crossroads Wauseon is excited to offer a weekend away for couples seeking to strengthen their marriage and build lasting memories together!

This year’s retreat will be held at the Sauder Heritage Inn (22611 OH-2, Archbold, OH 43502) the weekend of September 6-8, 2024. The topic will be: “Overcoming Threats to Your Marriage.” The total cost for the weekend is $390 per couple. This includes two continental breakfasts, Saturday evening dinner at The Barn Restaurant, access to Sauder Village, lodging, snacks, materials, and a special gift for each couple. You will enjoy relevant teaching that will strengthen and encourage your marriage along with significant amounts of free time to explore Sauder Village and the greater NW Ohio area, reconnect as a couple and enjoy the amenities at the Inn.

We are reviving a weekly prayer meeting at 9:00am in the Prayer Room/Mother’s Lounge. Everyone is invited to come seek the Lord together and pray for gospel renewal in our church, our community and around the world. Let’s outgrow this room in our devotion to prayer as a church.
