Weekly Fighter Verse
Matthew 5:3-6
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Question 32: What do justification and sanctification mean?
Answer*: Justification means our declared righteousness before God, made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection for us. Sanctification means our gradual, growing righteousness, made possible by the Spirit’s work in us.

GOSPEL LIFE GROUPs
Signup Now – September 10th | via Church App or Connect Card
The mission of Gospel Life Groups (GLG) is to bring the gospel into everyday life as the family of God on the mission of God. GLGs are one of the main avenues for King’s Cross Church members and attendees to express KCC’s Core Identities.
Each GLG gathers together 2-4 times a month in homes to build one another up through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. Each group is made up of between 12-20 people and has the feel of a large family or a mildly rowdy party. This year, as usual, we’ll launch Gospel Life Groups in mid-September. They will meet regularly until December, start up again in January, and meet until May.
Instructions on the Lord’s Supper
Update on Communion
Each week KCC takes part in the sacred meal of communion. In the Lord’s Supper we look back at Jesus’ selfless love in dying for us, we look at one another as members of His body and reflect on our unity, and we look forward to His future return. If you are a baptized believer in good standing with your church, and you are walking in step with the truth of the gospel, we invite you to partake with us.
This Sunday we will begin implementing weekly communion as part of our worship gathering at King’s Cross Church. Note the change in location of the communion stations provided in the example above – this is to help improve the flow of traffic during communion and hopefully reduce distractions for everyone involved.

REVIVING THE SUNDAY PRAYER MEETING
Every Sunday Starting July 9th | 9:00am
We are reviving a weekly prayer meeting at 9:00am in the Prayer Room/Mother’s Lounge. Everyone is invited to come seek the Lord together and pray for gospel renewal in our church, our community and around the world. Let’s outgrow this room in our devotion to prayer as a church.
“We need a work of the Holy Ghost of a supernatural kind, putting power into the preaching of the Word, inspiring all believers with heavenly energy, and solemnly affecting the hearts of the careless so that they may turn to God and live.” -C. H. Spurgeon, Only a Prayer Meeting.
We Would Love to Pray for You
Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
