Last Sunday’s sermon text was perhaps one of the most famous passage in the Bible. The parables of the lost sheep, coin, and sons (i.e. prodigal son). What a beautiful story of redemption and glimpse into the Father’s heart for His children. How we view God directly affects how we relate to Him. In the Bible, God is often pictured as holy and all-powerful, but He is also pictured as full of mercy and grace. And we see this most clearly in these parables. God the Father has a bleeding heart for His children. Let that encourage you, wherever you are, that God always welcomes back those who humbly come to Him.

Baptism Sunday
January 30th

Kid's Corner

Third John 1:4 says, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” Indeed, it is a great joy when people come to know Jesus as the way, truth, and life and commit to walk in obedience to Him. To that end, we are planning to baptize a few people on Sunday, January 30th. Come and hear about how the Lord is changing lives of people in NW Ohio!

SPRING DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

Kid's Corner

We want to strengthen our emphasis on Discipleship Groups (DGs) this spring by providing more structure. DGs are 24 people of the same gender who meet regularly to discover Christ or grow in Christ. From February 6th20th, you can signup to join a DG. Most DGs meet bimonthly and at various times of the day so everyone will be encouraged to join a DG that best fits their schedule. Space in each DG is limited and given on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, click on the button below and fill out the form.

BIBLICAL COUNSELING at KCC

Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.

If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.

WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU

We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
