Weekly Fighter Verse

1 Peter 2:9-10 [11]
[But] you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. [Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.]

Weekly New City Catechism

Next Sunday's Sermon Text

Psalm 13 (ESV)

How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I take counsel in my soul
and have sorrow in my heart all the day?
How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

Consider and answer me, O Lord my God;
light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,”
lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken.

But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me.

THANKSGIVING OFFERING

Sunday, November 26th

Each year, we base our budget on 51 weeks and dedicate the additional week to a particular need. This year, all of the offering given on November 26th will go to our building renovations. We have a goal to raise $75,000 by the end of Nov. As of Nov. 12th we still need to raise $27,869 to fully fund the kitchen project. We’re almost 2/3rds of the way there!

Giving Tuesday Africa

Tuesday, November 28th | 6:00pm @ Wauseon Crossroads Church Auditorium

The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday – 2 days we spend a lot of money on ourselves and on those we love. But did you know that the day after Cyber Monday has been nationally identified as Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday was created to inspire generosity.

This year Fulton County has an opportunity to extend radical generosity to the people of Sub-Saharan Africa. Three nonprofit ministries will be highlighted: Village Project Africa Schools in Kenya, Home of Hope Orphanage in Zimbabwe and the ACPI throughout Southern Africa.

The 2 hour event includes a plated dinner, presentations from each of the three ministries and opportunities for you to give generously to extend grace and hope to thousands.

KCC Loop Newsletter Prayer

We Would Love to Pray for You

Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
