KCC testimonies & Baptisms
Last Sunday, we baptized four individuals who are a part of our church fellowship. What an encouragement it was to hear how the Lord has awakened their hearts to His gospel! If you missed out on hearing their testimonies or seeing them get baptized, then we encourage you to take a few minutes to watch this video.

MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
November 6th & 20th @ 2nd St. Building | 1:30-3:30PM
We believe that the church is the family of God on the mission of God. We love one another as brothers and sisters. Yet we are also missionaries who are teaming up to advance God’s kingdom. We believe this is best lived out in the context of covenant membership in a local church.
In November, we will be hosting a Membership Matters class for two Sunday afternoons, November 6th & 20th, from 1:30-3:30pm at the 2nd Street building (1945 E. 2nd St.). This is a time for people to explore what we believe and why we believe it. You will be on your own for lunch, but we will have light snacks for the meeting. Childcare can be arranged if needed. Just let us know at least a week beforehand. If you can only make one session, you can still pursue membership. You can makeup the session by listening to the Membership Matters podcast and then we will follow up with you. Please let us know if you are planning to attend by clicking on the corresponding button below.
KCC YOUTH BIBLE QUIZ PRACTICES
November 8th and 22nd @ 2nd St. Building | 6:30PM-8:30PM
Bible quiz is a fun way for youth ages 12-20 to learn the Bible and hang out with others seeking to do the same. We are studying Exodus this year. For more info please contact Seth at 419-551-6399.

NEW CITY CATECHISM: Question 44
QUESTION: What is baptism?
ANSWER*: Baptism is the washing with water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; it signifies and seals our adoption into Christ, our cleansing from sin, and our commitment to belong to the Lord and to his church.

OLD STORY NEW FAMILY DEVOTIONAL: 67
WEEKLY FIGHTER VERSE: 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
NEXT SUNDAY’S SERMON TEXT: 1 Corinthians 3:1-9
WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU
We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
PRAYER REMINDER:
For praying for the McMaster family, and specifically David Morton (Roxy’s son, Kelly’s brother). He was recently transferred to a short term intensive rehabilitation hospital in Toledo. The results have been very positive so far (praise the Lord!), but there is still a long road to recovery. Keep praying for a full recovery, and, more specifically, that the next TBI hospital placement would happen quickly that it would be close enough for the needed family involvement. Additionally, pray for the many of the associated logistics (i.e. health insurance, long term care, and financial issues) that the McMaster family is spear heading. Pray that these issues would resolve in a timely fashion and that the McMaster family would have the strength, wisdom and endurance needed.
BIBLICAL COUNSELING at KCC
Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselors are certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.
If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.
