Question 41: What is the Lord’s Prayer?
Answer*: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Updates and Events
Sunday, November 26th
Each year, we base our budget on 51 weeks and dedicate the additional week to a particular need. This year, all of the offering given on November 26th will go to our building renovations. We have a goal to raise $75,000 by the end of Nov. As of Nov. 12th we still need to raise $27,869 to fully fund the kitchen project. We’re almost 2/3rds of the way there!
(NORMAL) COVENANT MEMBERS’ MEETING
Sunday, December 3rd | Following the Worship Gathering
KCC Covenant Members will meet in the auditorium immediately following the worship gathering. Childcare and light snacks provided. If you’re not a member but are interested in learning more about covenant membership in the local church, click on the button below.
KCC WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY
Sunday, December 10th | 7:00PM – 9:00PM @ 2nd St
All ladies 13 and up are invited to a Simple Joys Christmas Party. Feel free to come in your cozy pajamas and bring a sweet or salty snack to share. We will be exchanging gifts so please bring a $10 or under wrapped gift of one of your favorite delights to give away (something you would buy to pamper yourself). Invite a friend. See Eron Mosier or Beth Baus if you have questions. “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” – Psalm 16:11
Giving Tuesday Africa
Tuesday, November 28th | 6:00pm @ Wauseon Crossroads Church Auditorium
The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday followed by Cyber Monday – 2 days we spend a lot of money on ourselves and on those we love. But did you know that the day after Cyber Monday has been nationally identified as Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday was created to inspire generosity.
This year Fulton County has an opportunity to extend radical generosity to the people of Sub-Saharan Africa. Three nonprofit ministries will be highlighted: Village Project Africa Schools in Kenya, Home of Hope Orphanage in Zimbabwe and the ACPI throughout Southern Africa.
The 2 hour event includes a plated dinner, presentations from each of the three ministries and opportunities for you to give generously to extend grace and hope to thousands.

KCC BUILDING RENOVATION UPDATES
2nd St. and Florence Ave. Locations
As we continue to work on the building renovations, we’ll try to keep you updated through the KCC Loop. We try to post pictures or other updates as needed so that we can all see the progress as well as the work that still needs to be completed.
While some finishing touches are in progress, the main move into the new KCC offices at Florence occurred this past weekend on Nov 18th. We are grateful for the huge help everyone was who came out to assist with the move! We wish we could have gotten a group picture of everyone who helped, but timing prevented that from being possible.
Our new KCC Office address is: 334 Florence Ave, Defiance, Ohio 43512
Community Events and Needs
Black Swamp Community Orchestra
Christmas/Winter Concert – Free Admission
Friday, December 1st | 7pm @ Free Christian Church of God
Saturday, December 2nd | 2pm @ Wesley United Methodist Church
Originally begun as a string quartet in early 2004, the Black Swamp Community Orchestra is now a volunteer orchestra located in northwest (Defiance) Ohio. The BSCO is comprised of community music teachers, musicians, and students. We provide a musical outlet where younger school children, college students, and older professionals can all come together to share the love of music. This unique blend of youth through wisdom brings an experience unlike any other for participants.
We Would Love to Pray for You
Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
