It is truly unprecedented times for our country. With COVID-19 shutting down the country since March and a presidential elect yet to be determined, it is important to remember that God is still on His throne. Politics, Policies, and Presidents will come and go, but still Jesus is Lord and his reign is secure. We must be careful not to make too much or too little of politics and who will lead our country, but our hope is ultimately in the eternal and unchanging God. The Great Commission doesn’t change based on who is in the Oval Office. As Christians, we are still called to go make disciples, whether we do so freely or with persecution, and we have God’s Spirit as our comforter and helper. Rest assured that “He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (1 Thess. 5:24).

We successfully re-launched our children’s ministry last Sunday. It will be a learning curve, so please be patient with us. We will continue to improve our system and update our Children’s Ministry webpage. Click on the button below for more information on what to expect for child check-in on Sunday.

We are planning to host a Membership Matters class for all who are interested in learning more about covenant membership at KCC. We are planning to meet on two consecutive Sunday afternoons, November 15th and 22nd, from 1:30-3:30pm. You can either join us in person at the Commons (521 W. 2nd St.) or join us on Zoom (LINK:, PW: 2020). This is a time for people to explore what we believe and why we believe it. Due to COVID-19 precautions, we will not be having a meal or childcare and will be wearing masks. If you can only make one session, you can still pursue membership. Let us know and we will follow up with you. For more information about our covenant membership process or to sign up, click on the corresponding button below.

Prayer is vital to our existence. It is something that we often fail to do because we don’t plan to do it. So we meet weekly on Wednesdays at 12pm at the Commons and on zoom to pray. Please join together as the body of Christ to pray. If you are in Defiance, come pray during lunch or join via Zoom if you don’t work in town. Join as you are making and eating lunch with your kids. We want to be a church that prays. Let’s consciously depend on the Lord together.
