Jesus came to seek and to save lost people, not people who think their religion has saved them. This was the main message from Chad’s sermon last Sunday. Jesus loves the unlovable and saves the unsavable. This is good news because that describes every human being, whether or not they acknowledge it. Salvation is about what God has done on our behalf in Christ. When you understand that religion doesn’t save but that Jesus saves, your life is changed forever. And you will response out of gratitude with the same radical intensity as Zacchaeus did.

Malawi Cyclone Relief
We are still taking up a collection for churches and pastors in Malawi who were affected by Cyclone Ana. KCC is giving $3,250 to cover the costs of rebuilding the church building and the three church planters’ houses. If you want to give to the Malawi Cyclone Relief for our partner churches, you can either write a check to KCC (mark it “Malawi Cyclone Relief”) or give online by clicking on the button below. Any money given toward this will replenish what KCC has committed to give. If there is giving above and beyond the $3250, then we will give that to Malawi Cyclone Relief.
Global Missions Questionnaire
King’s Cross has dedicated much giving and prayer to the missionaries God has put in our path. The KCC global missions team has been working diligently to make sure the whole congregation knows who we support as a body by having Missions Moments once a month during our gathering. Toward that end, we are sending out a questionnaire to gauge what kinds of initiatives would help us increasingly become globally-minded Christians.

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below -you shall not bow down to them or worship them. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Honor your father and your mother. You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU
We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
