BIBLICAL COUNSELING OPPORTUNITIES
The Bible teaches that believers have the responsibility to admonish the unruly, encourage those who are struggling, help the weak, and be patient with everyone (1 Thess. 5:14). Biblical counseling lives out this command. We have had quite a few people from KCC go to biblical counseling seminars put on by Faith Biblical Counseling. If you are at all interested in being trained in biblical counseling, we highly recommend these two upcoming fully online training opportunities. Both of these options are offered online and are relatively inexpensive (between $200-300). If you have any questions about these options or would like financial assistance, email us.
Monday Basic Training Course
This is an 11-Week class that meets on Mondays from March 15th to May 24th. This is a certified training center for those wishing to pursue ACBC Certification. Keep in mind that this is a class with coursework.
Virtual Regional Training Conference
This is a one-weekend a month training that covers a full week’s worth of material in three consecutive months (Mar. 26-27, Apr. 23-24, May 21-22). This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to soak up training while having a month in-between processing time. There is no assigned work between training weekends so you can just attend and learn.
Receive Biblical Counseling from KCC Counselors
Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures. If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.
