In last Sunday’s sermon, we were challenged to be awake and a witness to Jesus when we face worldly trouble. Jesus is greater than any person or spirit in this world. In fact, if as Christians we are not facing some backlash, then we are probably not living as Christ lived. But the point is that in uncertain times we have certainty of faith in Christ because he already accomplished our salvation. And he has given us his Spirit to help us through worldly troubles. You’ll have trouble in this world, but take heart because Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33).
Sundays, April 3rd & 10th

We will be meeting the next two Sunday afternoons, April 3rd and 10th, from 1:30-3:30pm at the Commons (521 W. 2nd St.) for our Membership Matters class. This is a time for people to explore what we believe and why we believe it. If you’re concerned about childcare, please let us know. We have people who would be willing to babysit for those who need it. If you can only make one session, you can still pursue membership. We can makeup the session by listening to the Membership Matters podcast. You can listen to these and then we will follow up with you.
