God has revealed much about Himself to us through Scripture. This summer, we are exploring specific attributes of God’s character through a new sermon series called God Is: An Invitation to Wonder. Last Sunday, Sam highlighted in his sermon that God is incomprehensible, yet knowable. Join us this summer as we dive deeper into these glorious and wonderful aspects of God’s being that He has allowed us to know. If you would like to grow more in your understanding of God’s attributes, here are a few resources we recommend to get you started:
KCC Guys’ Campout
June 3rd-4th
Fellowship is an important aspect of being family. So we are calling all the guys, and their sons, to come out to Matt Woodcox’s home, near Antwerp, where we will enjoy a bonfire, activities, food, and fellowship. Those who are willing to camp out in tents overnight, Saturday morning will be a breakfast and canoeing. But you can just come for Friday evening if you don’t want to camp out overnight. Bring outdoor camping, fishing, and/or canoeing gear. Stay informed by texting @kccguys to 81010. We will be sending out updates on food and other logistics. Or fill out this contact form.
Summer Food Program
During the summer months, we are helping serve lunch to children in need once a week at Latty Grove Park from 12-12:30pm. We do not have to prepare the meals. We simply come and serve. It takes less than an hour, so you could easily do it on your lunch break if you work in Defiance. Please contact Cassie Verhoff if you are able to help.
Miracle Camp
Miracle Camp is a great place for families or kids to receive teaching from Scriptures while meeting others and having fun. There are activities all summer for kids of all ages as well as families. Still unsure? You can read this article for a few reasons to send your kid to camp this summer or you can go to miraclecamp.com for more information. If your interested, you can also contact Joshua Wagner for a scholarship coupon.

WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU
We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
