God gives wisdom to those who ask. Sometimes the most difficult thing to do is to ask. But God generously gives to all who ask Him for wisdom. As we read the Bible, God is forming our hearts and our minds in order to wisely apply all that He is teaching us. Some practical ways to take in God’s wisdom through the Bible is to read the Bible together with others by joining a Discipleship Group and by memorizing Scripture through Fighter Verses. We also have DG Pathways to help you get started in reading the Bible. Reading and memorizing the Bible in community with others builds in natural accountability and encouragement. Proverbs 4:7 tells us to “Get wisdom.” These are two practical ways to do so.

Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.

Crossroads Wauseon is excited to offer a weekend away for couples seeking to strengthen their marriage and build lasting memories together! This year’s retreat will be held at the Sauder Heritage Inn (22611 State Route 2, Archbold, OH) the weekend of September 10-12, 2021. The total cost for the weekend is $350 per couple and includes two continental breakfasts, Saturday evening dinner at The Barn Restaurant, access to Sauder Village, lodging, and all snacks materials. The weekend will include relevant teaching that will strengthen and encourage your marriage along with significant amounts of free time to explore Sauder Village, reconnect as a couple and enjoy the amenities at the Inn. If you are interested in attending, please register online by clicking the button below.
