We have been a sermon series through the Letter of James called “Otherworldly Wisdom.” There are many voices jockeying for our attention. Who do we trust? Or maybe a better question would be: To whom are we listening? The source of wisdom shows through conduct. We give ourselves away through our behavior and words. They reveal the true source of our wisdom, who we are listening to. If we responded to circumstances in a worldly and unbiblical way, they our wisdom is worldly. If we respond as Jesus did or as the Bible commands, then our wisdom is godly. What does your conduct reveal about your source of wisdom?

Basque Initiative

We were pleased to be able to host Ramon and Cindy Garcia, who serve in the Basque in Northern Spain, at the Commons last Monday evening. They shared about how the Lord is moving among the Basque people. It was encouraging to hear stories of people who have recently come to know the Lord and how they have been growing in their faith. You can learn more about the Basque Initiative at their website. If you would like to the Basque Initiative, click on the button below. To give specifically to Ramon and Cindy, you can click “Spain – Ramon and Cindy G.” under the Fund dropdown.

Wellspring Update

On Sunday evenings in Fayette, Ohio, a group of worshipers can be found gathered under a big, white tent in the former Fayette Supermarket parking lot. KCC 2021 Summer Calendar

Almost a year ago, we decided to make a new KCC t-shirt. Well, after some complications, we finally got one made. Now it’s available. If you originally signed up for a t-shirt, we have them reserved for you. But we also have extras. So if you would like a KCC t-shirt, we have them available for $10 @ the Commons.

Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.

If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.

We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
