It was a joy to hear the Sunday morning sermon from our Malawi ministry partner, Robert Manda, on the missional church. So often the mission of the church can get lost in the mix of so many other worthy and important pursuits. But we must always be called back to our purpose of reaching people for the gospel, whether next door or across the ocean. We strive to meet practical needs as well as spiritual needs. We cannot divorce the two. Making disciples doesn’t happen overnight, but you can start anytime. Be encouraged that the Lord has reconciled us to Himself in order to be ministers of reconciliation. So let’s gladly go be instruments of proclaiming his message of hope and righteousness, starting where you are and what’s right in front of you.

Helping Ukrainian Refugees
Please GIVE by Sunday, August 21st

Kid's Corner

In the wake of the war in Ukraine, millions of people have been displaced. American churches have lamented yet struggled to know how to help believers in Ukraine. Tim and Bert Shiarla feel led by the Lord to get involved. They have been connected with Pastor Ervin in Slovakia. The church he pastors has been helping Ukrainian refugees with practical needs, such as securing apartments, paying for rent, and getting them jobs. They specifically requested prayer, but you can give online by clicking the button below or put a check or cash in the giving box (make sure to include “Ukrainian Refugee Fund” on checks and cash envelopes). Learn more above Pastor Ervin and how to get more involved by reading our blog post.

BIBLICAL COUNSELING at KCC

Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.

If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.

WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU

We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
