We launched a new sermon last Sunday in the Gospel of Luke. Picking up where we left off in May of 2020, we will be exploring what it means to seek first the kingdom of God. What does it really mean to follow Jesus? When Jesus said that the kingdom of God had come, what did he mean? These are just a few questions we will seek to answer in the coming months.

Covenant Members’ Meeting
Sunday, September 26th

We are planning on having a Covenant Members’ Meeting right after the worship gathering on September 26th. If you are a covenant member, please prioritize attending as we will be presenting and affirming new members. Also, per the KCC Constitution, we will be re-affirming a few of our existing elders for 3-year terms.

New Song This Sunday:
“God IS FOr Us”
by CityAlight

Christians often need to be reminded of the the elemental aspects of the faith. “God is For Us” reminds Christians that God is a Father and cares for His children. Even when we stumble and especially when we feel alone or are unsure of the future, we know that God is for us. He is on our side and helps us press onward. In the next few Sundays, we will be introducing “God is For Us” written and recorded by CityAlight. The lyrics of this song reminds us:

Sing with joy now: our God is for us
The Father’s love is a strong and mighty fortress
Raise your voice now, no love is greater
Who can stand against us if our God is for us

If you would like to bring them earlier, you may drop them off at the business office on Friday, September 17th.

KCC T-SHIRTS

Almost a year ago, we decided to make a new KCC t-shirt. Well, after some complications, we finally got one made. Now it’s available. If you originally signed up for a t-shirt, we have them reserved for you. But we also have extras. So if you would like a KCC t-shirt, we have them available for $10 @ the YMCA.

BIBLICAL COUNSELING at KCC

Life is full of things to be discouraged about, and it can be overwhelming. We believe that Jesus offers real help, hope, and healing in the difficulties of life. We believe that the power of God’s Word and Spirit offers hope of life change from the inside out. So we offer biblical counseling to those needing the comfort and wisdom of Scripture. While we believe God can work through various methods of counseling, our lead counselor is certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We also have pastors and other counselors who have received training from Faith Biblical Counseling, and are able and willing to counsel according to the Scriptures.

If you would like to explore meeting with one of our counselors, please fill out the contact form by clicking on the button below and we will try to match you with someone.

WE WOULD LOVE TO PRAY FOR YOU

We would love to pray for you! Some people think that only major crises of life are worth praying for, but the truth is that everyone needs prayer for something. James 4:2 says that we do not have because we do not ask, and when we do we often have false or impure motives. So the first step is to ask. So please come and let us pray for you in person at our Sunday worship gathering. Or, if you would like prayer now, just click the button below and fill out the form and we will pray for you.
