YMCA WORSHIP GATHERING
We have officially launched our first Sunday for gathered worship at the Defiance YMCA and will continue to meet Sundays @ 10am. It will be a few weeks (or months?) to get settled in and iron out some wrinkles, but we will get there. If you have questions about the what meeting at the YMCA will be like, specifically about COVID restrictions, wearing masks, and childcare, Sam has written a blog post to answer these questions and more. You can read more about this by clicking the button below.
COVENANT MEMBERS’ MEETING
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18TH
If you are a covenant member of KCC, we are having a Covenant Members’ Meeting on Sunday, October 18th after the worship gathering to talk about how things are going at the YMCA, discuss the childcare situation, and introduce new members. We will not be having a meal or childcare, but we will get started shortly after the worship gathering.
If you are interested in pursuing covenant membership, you can visit our Covenant Membership webpage or send us an email by clicking on the button below.
SERMON RESOURCES
AN EVENING OF ESCHATOLOGY
In last Sunday’s sermon, Sam mentioned this video on different views of the end times, specifically how to interpret the “millennium” in Revelation 20:1-6. Though this video is two hours long, these godly men agree more than they disagree. It’s a wonderful example of passionate debate in Christian love.
END OF THE WORLD INFOGRAPHIC
When talking about difficult topics, such as the end times, sometimes it’s helpful to have a picture. Popular Christian blogger, Tim Challies, has many helpful infographics from his book and website, Visual Theology. The infographic above will hopefully help you make sense of eschatology as you wade through the deep waters of the different views of the end times.
KCC INVITE/EVANGELISM CARD
A few Sundays ago we passed out some business card size invites as a way of equipping KCC to invite people into gospel conversations. Rather than just say, “Go proclaim the gospel!,” Sam recorded this short video to walk you through how to use this simple tool to tell others about the good news about Jesus.
