1 Thess 4:13-18 - No Downside to Death
Main idea: There is no downside to death for those who hope in Christ. I. How can there be no downside to death? 1 Thessalonians 4:13-15 1. the dead in Christ are only sleeping. 2. The dead in Christ will be raised when Christ returns. 3. The dead in Christ will meet the Lord before those left alive. II. What will happen when Jesus returns? 1 Thess 4:16-17 1. The Return: Jesus Himself will come down from heaven 2. The Resurrection: The dead in Christ will rise first. 3. The Rapture: We who are alive will be caught up together with them 4.
