Luke 6:27-36 - Extremists for Agape Love
I . A nice idea, but what does loving enemies actually look like? ( Lk 6:28-31) 1. do good to those who hate you (Luke 6:27) 2. bless those who curse you (Luke 6:28) 3. pray for those who abuse you (Luke 6:28) 4. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also (Luke 6:29) 5. from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either (Luke 6:29) 6. give to everyone who begs from you (Luke 6:30) 7. from the one who takes away your goods do not demand them back (Luke 6:30) 8. As you wish others would do to you, do so to them (Luke 6:31) II. That sounds hard...why is it worth it? (Lk 6:32-35) III. How is loving like this possible? (Lk 6:35-36)
