Romans 14 - Conscience: Christian Liberty and Love

1. On issues of conscience, accepting your brother is better than arguing because God has accepted us all. Rom 14:1-2 2. On issues of conscience, don’t despise or judge the motives of your brother. Rom 14:3-4 3. On issue of conscience, develop an informed, thoughtful opinion and be convinced. Rom 14:5 4. On issues of conscience, assume God-glorifying motives in those with whom you differ. Rom 14:6-9 5. On issues of conscience, if you despise or judge others, remember you too will be judged by God. Rom 14:10-12 6. On issues of conscience, don’t hinder the conscience of your brother or sister. Rom 14:13-14 7. On issues of conscience, you don’t have to withhold from stating your viewpoint. Rom 14:14, 16 8. On issues of conscience, ask “What is most loving toward others for whom Christ died?” Rom 14:15 9. On issues of conscience, make the priorities of God’s kingdom your priorities. Rom 14:17 10. On issues of conscience, work hard to live at peace, and build up. Rom 14:19
