Sunday Worship

We are made by God to center our lives on worshiping Him! We gather on Sundays to re-center our lives and hearts on worshiping God the Father, through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. We worship God as the Scriptures are read and preached, and as we sing truth to God and one another, as we pray, love one another.  Our Sunday gatherings are a feast that fuels us to worship God every day, with our whole lives.

What to Expect

We recognize that it can be strange to visit a church.  We’ll try to answer some questions that might come up.  And on Sunday mornings there will always be members of King’s Cross available to help answer any further questions you might have.

What is the worship gathering like?

Our hope is that our worship gatherings are clear and understandable, yet also rich and deep.  We worship God with both contemporary and historical forms and styles. So we sing a variety of songs and hymns to glorify God and encourage each other.

Feel free to listen to the playlists on the right to become familiar with some of the songs we sing and the songs we’re going to be singing this Sunday. You can also follow the playlists if you would like to listen to them regularly.

Every week there will be a sermon preached from the Bible. In our teaching, we love to see how God speaks to us from His Word about knowing Jesus, and how he shapes the everyday, nitty-gritty nature of our lives. Every first and third Sunday of the month we also celebrate communion together.

We hope everyone who comes to learn and worship with us will feel free to come as they are.  There are no rules about either dressing up or dressing down.

What about my kids?
